Students designed screens on the theme of the city and surroundings of Kranj and the heritage of sieves. Textile compositions in various combinations of hand techniques were created on wooden screens, reflecting the inspirations of Kranj, its inhabitants, history, architecture, nature, heritage, etc. The basic binding used is the canvas binding, in which the mesh screens are also woven, which represented the starting point for the design of the final product. Students explored a variety of hand techniques, from weaving, felting and knitting to macrame techniques. Many of the materials used are of natural origin; cotton, wool, rope, wood, metal. The colors are also in more subdued, natural tones.
