Their work combines graphics, painting, and sculpture, examining themes of identity, migration, and precariousness in the post-Yugoslav space. A special focus of their work is on archival materials and the use of discarded objects that serve as a source of inspiration for their multilayered visual compositions, combined in a dialogue between their individual artistic practices. (From the curator text of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/layer.si\/kaos\/en\/curators-on-kaos-2024\/\">Adrijan Praznik<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nevena Aleksovski<\/strong> (RS\/SI) graduated in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Novi Sad in 2008, and in 2014, she continued her academic journey with a master&#8217;s degree in cultural studies at the University of Ljubljana.
