Moa Bleyner Cederberg (FI/CO)

The space between threads (2025)

Weaving, embroidery;
Nylon thread, alpaca wool, finnsheep wool, artist’s own hair
80 x 330 cm
Layer house, Kranj
Presence, absence, hybridity.

Through spinning, weaving, and natural dyeing, Moa Bleyner Cederberg works with material and memory, embedding fibers and personal elements to reflect presence, absence, and hybridity. The Space Between Threads explores the idea that like air, identity is both vital and elusive—it moves through us, linking past and present, yet remains impossible to grasp fully.
