Crocheting is a handicraft technique that, due to its nature of creation, allows the creator to adapt the form to the conceptual design without extensive planning of the design process. In this task, students explored the expressive dimensions of the technique by incorporating a zero-waste approach. The experimental clothing forms were derived from a simple T-shaped pattern inspired by the outline of a T-shirt. The concepts of the design are based on exploring the significance of the sun in an abstract symbolic context, such as black holes and the formation of the sun, skin damage caused by sun exposure, religion, and more.
