The concept for this work is based on a brief collection and confrontation of ideas. Each student had one minute to write down ten associations for the word “migration”. The words that appeared most frequently and repeatedly were taken by the students as the basis for a shared thought pattern. Using mixed techniques, they transferred these words into visual design metaphors on the front and back of the felt. The created forms are based on the principle of zero waste.
