At first glance, the artwork appears beautiful, soothing, and light, but upon touch, we realize that it is something more complex and darker. The sun, which is a crucial part of human existence, is simultaneously slowly destroying everything around us. The artist draws inspiration for the artwork from the colours of the sunset.

Ela Leko is a postgraduate student of Textile Design from the Faculty of Textile Technology in Zagreb, Croatia. She has been active on the design scene since 2015, and exhibits at various group exhibitions and independently works on projects.
