"We believe that the use of symbols and illustrations in such creative projects offers an opportunity for dialogue and the inclusion of diverse communities. We have also invited members of the Revealed Hands association from Jesenice into this community. Together, we translated our graphic patterns back into embroidery, connecting with the tradition of čilim weaving. The graphic patterns, created within the course Artistic Analysis of Graphic Works 2 at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering, Department of Textiles, Graphics, and Design, entered a new space through the thread of Revealed Hands—both on the level of materiality and meaning. Through an intergenerational and intercultural approach, we have woven a special bond that is now preserved in the dialogue between the digital print and the textile artwork."
