At the open-air stage of Layer House, the Eta Award ceremony also took place. The winners were Borjan Litovski (National Award) and Olivia Géraud (International Award). Congratulations to both!
The ETA Award was established in 2024 during the opening of an exhibition by Eta Sadar Breznik, one of Slovenia’s most significant textile artists. Named in her honor, it also stands for “Exceptional Textile Award”. Its mission is to promote handcrafted textile techniques among young textile artists.
National Award: The Slovenian winner receives a one-week residency at Lottozero Textile Labs in Prato, Italy.
International Award: The international winner receives a two-week residency at the Layer House residency center in Kranj, Slovenia.
