The Sun, an object of mythologised worship, valued for its benefits as well as feared for its ardour, conditions the life of the human species on Earth. But humans have entered the Anthropocene and this star of light now casts a shadow on the Earth and the man’s hubris. Hair as a material and witness of human passage on Earth, is at the centre of this work. The use of gold refers to light, divinity, preciousness, but also to the permanence of this celestial body while man is transformed into a vector of transformation.
