Phenomena of the afterimage effect

The composition, compound of thirteen almost identical parts, is a reflection of how and what we see. The base colour of the composition remains unchanged throughout but changes illusory as the colour of the thread changes. The work focuses on the afterimage phenomena that appears before our eyes immediately after looking at a strong light on a sunny day. It is a reflection of the image we see in the eye, which depends on the light. The eye sees the light. The way we see and describe the world is thus dependent on light.
