Maintaining balance while growing towards the light

Mingyes’ work experiments with material properties, creating abstract forms that interact with the surrounding space. Her textile sculptures capture the essence of life, reflecting the movement and breath of fluid entities. The Stem series depicts the plant stem’s struggle to maintain balance as it grows toward light. Minye Yue, a graduate of the Royal College of Art, explores humanity’s intersection with nature through her textile works. By weaving DNA fibers, she creates narratives of eternal regeneration and questions anthropocentric views.
