The exhibition brings together artists whos individual artworks were included in the exhibition BIEN 2025, Textile Art Biennial this summer in GONG Gallery in Nova Gorica (curated by Lovro Ivančić). Now they are presented as cohesive artwork. They invite visitors to enter the speculative space of transcendence. Silk becomes a metaphor for the evolution between the human and the non-human.This is not an exhibition about silk as fabric. It is an exploration of silk as a living, speculative medium, an interface between species, technologies, and temporalities.

This exhibition is part of a two-part event presented specially for ReThinkable 2025 — beginning with the public talk “Cheap Silk — A More-than-human History of Sericulture in Slovenia’s Goriška Region” by Mateja Fajt, followed by the opening of The Fourth Cocoon exhibition.
