Recycling or upcycling textile waste has become an important and desirable element in the design and production of textile products in recent years. The students explored various techniques of creating textile installations on the theme of the Sun, ranging from traditional uses of textile in a space to completely experimental approaches. They combined discarded textile pieces with other materials as well. Each product represents the author’s personal expression and their own interpretation of the significance of the sun, reflected through intimate narratives on various symbolic levels.
