Sun fragments is made with one hundred woven and starched yellow linen cubes, but gives an impression of a painting which expresses sun as a source of life that illuminates the world. The light and heat of the sun are concentrated in each cube. The density of the 100 cubes evokes sun power. Each copper nail is like a bright spot, a bright star. The intense yellow color radiates the space. The work hanging on the wall projects sun rays and energy towards the viewer.
