In their work, students explore the relationships between different textile materials and traditional hand techniques characteristic of the Slovenian region, as well as the history of hand techniques in Slovenia. The sun has served as their main inspiration in creating a larger-format project. Macramé, weaving, crochet, knitting, and felting encompass a wide range of textures, weights, lightness, and translucencies. The reflections that arise from the interplay and layering of the pieces, as well as the permeation of sunlight through them, serve as a unique reflection of the perception of the various influences of the sun on humans and the environment.
