By connecting past and present, the talk highlights how designers and artists can approach today’s challenges with awareness, responsibility, and originality, making it especially relevant for fashion designers, textile artists, and creatives interested in integrating sustainability and historical research into their practice.

Italian textile designer and artist Arianna Moroder, co-founder of Lottozero - an international center for textile design, art, and culture established in 2016 with her sister Tessa - will present a special talk celebrating ten years since its opening. Marking this important milestone, Arianna will reflect on a decade of reframing textile heritage at Lottozero, tracing the journey from researching historical materials in textile archives to transforming them into contemporary art and design. In her talk, Lottozero: 10 Years Reframing Textile Heritage, she will explore how traditional fabrics and processes can inspire innovative, sustainable design solutions, demonstrating how archival research can shape a distinctive creative language.
