Claire Barber, a textile artist, and Monty Adkins, a composer specializing in electronic music, sound design, and sonic art present themselves with a lightbox that addresses the increasing temperature of our atmosphere through the lens of receding glaciers. Just as glaciers carry rock debris, layers of ice and pins are built up to echo a double cloth that is woven separately and then becomes combined into a single structure. The soundscape utilises layered recordings of storms in Norway as well as pins and ice, using the same ideas of ice and double cloth to create an immersive sonic tactility.
