Ela Leko (HR)

Ela Leko is a Croatian textile artist interested in the deconstruction of various materials and their reassembly into new forms. Fifth Burnout reflects a process of rebirth—a metamorphosis. Through two similar yet distinct forms, the artist conveys an internal transformation. The work is part of the Self-Love series, a body of work the artist uses as a means of healing. She crumbles under the weight of expectations—both real and perceived.
