Reserved for Later explores moments where time, expectation, imperfection, and the unspoken intertwine. The exhibition brings together two distinct projects, both based on resist-dyeing techniques: blueprinting and cyanotype. It features individual interpretations by students who, through the creative process, explored the theme of “Air” and delved into the artistic interpretation of invisible yet ever-present elements.

Blueprinting is a traditional method of resist textile printing in which a special resist paste is applied to the fabric using printing blocks. After drying, the fabric is dyed. Once the paste is removed, the undyed elements of the pattern remains visible.

Cyanotype is a resist-printing method that resembles the development of analogue photographs. A special chemical solution is applied to the textile or other surface. Once dry, the surface is covered with a chosen motif. Under ultraviolet light, the uncovered areas of the textile turn blue.
