Northern Lights explores the varied expressions of textile as it intertwines with wind and light. It is a spatial textile created as an outdoor installation. It creates a playful experience that emphasizes the present moment in a world where it is challenging to be fully present. The thin textile is woven from materials that respond to light, and their interaction resembles the natural phenomenon of the Northern Lights. The appearance of the artwork changes according to sunlight conditions and shadows, reflecting the influence of light on the space. The installation pays tribute to the natural power of the sun, creating phenomena of beauty while also highlighting its impact on our future.
