Transitions of the sun at the artist map

Everything in our galaxy, as well as this biennial, is centered around the sun. Through "Transition" the authors will be showing the sun as an object that fuels us, the matter our planet rotates around. The map of the sun was used by people for many years to help them in their travels. The two side panels of the outdoor gallery show a map of the sky in Zagreb on the day artists left for the residency and a map of the sky in Kranj on the day they first publicly show their work. It is a map of their physical path of their transit. The middle panel of the gallery is made for the people of Kranj who will help them fill it with planets made from recycled plastic, textiles and burned felt.

Leko and Subanović will be staying at the art residency from June 23 until July 1.
