Bagrat Arazyan (1958) is an artist, designer, curator, musician and philosopher. He lives and works in Slovenia, Russia and Lithuania. Since 1994, he has been a co-founder and curator in the Modius gallery and design studio in Moscow. He works at the intersection of various media, from traditional to multimedia practices. He is one of the first in the Russian art world to start working with monumental works created using digital technologies. He incorporates music and lyrics into his work, creating a new multicultural environment each time. Since 2017, he is the co-founder and curator of the Pivka Contemporary Art Center in Slovenia.
