“We thought our equal rights were secured. Now the progressive models have been subverted and so the liminal space is unclear.”
Feminism’s place in the modern world is a liminal space and is eroding in many places below the surface, just at a time when women seem to have more rights than ever. The piece is exploring the liminality of legislation and women’s rights around the world. Emily Marbach is a collagist living in London. Her works have been exhibited at several solo and group exhibitions.
