Kai Holland studied photo and film design at the University of Applied Science in Dortmund. He is the head of the photo department of a well-known photo agency in Berlin. Holland’s detailed and mannered arrangements of found objects are graphic “wunderkammern” of a collagist, whose subtle and humorous gaze reveals the dilemma of the cycle of creation and destruction.
