Peter Marolt graduated in architectural sciences. He is employed as a teacher at the Faculty of Architecture in Ljubljana, where he works also in the scientific field. In 2005, the University of Ljubljana awarded him the Award for important artistic works in the field of architecture. Since 2015, he has been a member of the Artistic Council of the Association of Fine Artists of Kranj – ZDSLU. He regularly exhibits his works at individual and group exhibitions. He received many awards for his work. He creates mainly sculptures, but he is also an illustrator and author of two monographs on haiku poetry, the handbook on form theory in visual arts, as well as the author of a book of essays and art-theoretical or philosophical texts entitled Invisible Power of a Space.
