In this collage Sean uses fly posters to disguise an image of a marble sculpture. Multiple layers of posters are visible here, but the viewer only sees the reverse side. The posters’ faded colours show the effects of the city. The sun and the rain take their toll on once vibrant designs. If a viewer looks closely, he may see the fibres of the worn paper frayed at the edges where they have been torn by the hands of multiple strangers. In this collage, you are the wall, viewing only fragments of passersby, through a web of advertisements, graffiti and pollution.
