The sun pillar is an optical phenomenon that occurs in nature due to the reflection of sunlight from ice crystals, either on the ground or in the clouds. The exhibition setup illustrates a beam of light, with its basic element being a textile tube or cylinder digitally printed with patterns made by the authors. Suspended from the ceiling, they create a moving composition of individual textile patterns, combined into a colourful and dynamic spatial entity.
