Adverbs of time are those adverbs that specify time circumstances and answer questions such as “When?”, “Since when?”, “Until when?”. The work originates from the heritage of the Kranj textile factory Tekstilindus and their annual textile calendars, which themselves carry the story of the sun, the one that many different civilizations have always considered to be of key importance for their orientation in time. The sun is our main guiding force in life. It is time expressed in many different ways: captured in the form of a calendar, archived in museums or people’s memories, reinterpreted in patterned calendar graphics, collaged fragments of Tekstilindus, and textile calendars rich in images of Kranj’s cultural and craft heritage. Through collage, 3D simulation, and video processing techniques, it revives the memories of the local community and creates a bittersweet reminder of transience.
