the boundary between virtual and organic
blurs expands and multiplies simultaneously
logically everything becomes more unbalanced
the fabric of existence rapidly warps
the world has ended more times than thousands of times
it split fractured and sank
under the weight of pain
it ends every few hours we go crazy
anomaly by anomaly
twisted conglomerates are built
of sharp ulcers and poisonous thorns
beneath the surface everyone is love
without a response
beneath the surface everything is one love

Nela Poberžnik (1994) is a visual and interdisciplinary artist, as well as a graduate in Comparative Literature, currently completing her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts (AVA) in Ljubljana. Her creative practice encompasses poetry writing and a spectrum of visual arts practices, primarily photography, video, animation, and painting, reflecting intimate content beneath the surface of everyday life. The focal point of her work is centred around the concept of (de)collage, often in connection with (self)portraiture, which serves as the fundamental driving force of her exploration. The goal of her project Vessel for All Pain is to provide a space for suppressed burdens to be acknowledged, despite the preference to turn a blind eye.
