”My diorama / … / marks a liminal space that only reveals its secrets when viewed intensively from different angles, and yet remains a mystery.”
The diorama is named after the novel by Aldous Huxley. It invites the viewer on an imaginary journey beyond the surface into the interior of the self. The Scissorhands is the pseudonym of Munich-based illustrator Claudia Klein, who specialises in contemporary collage. In addition to free, artistic works, she also designs commercially commissioned works for daily newspapers, print media or record covers. Her artistic collages have been shown in solo and group exhibitions in galleries all around the world.
