The work She’s lost control was created by Petja in September 2023 at the Womcom – Women Power in Comics residency in Hungary. It is based on the song of the same name by the English post punk band Joy Division. She’s lost control is a self-portrait in comic book format that tells the story of losing control over one’s own mind and body. It is an intimate confession about the struggle with dark states of mind that appear in the form of anxiety, depression, fears and shame, but at the same time about recognition, acceptance, transformation and healing.
