Leon Zuodar builds his artistic practice on the interplay of drawing, painting, graphics, collage, and sewing. His minimalist aesthetic combines conceptual approaches with creative techniques, resulting in dynamic visual images that expressively engage the viewer. His recognizable artistic language, derived from simple drawings, is economical and devoid of any unnecessary emphasis. His flat and caricatured drawings, direct in narration and humour, often criticize stereotypical roles and the complexity of interpersonal dynamics. Zuodar’s works are distinguished by their clearly expressed content, stemming from his good understanding of the visual field and his skilful merging of various expressive techniques and materials.
