Paul Seelmann

A song of two prisoners who came to love their cage. A depiction of the current state of the world where utopia and dystopia live next to each other. Where fake intimacy is sold as a product but the real thing is almost unobtainable. So we rather choose artificial comfort than uncertain freedom.

Paul Seelmann (1986) releases his work in cycles of 21 artworks, available as limited fine art prints and NFTs. After graduating from his studies in Multimedia and Film in Vienna, he spent 10 years in Berlin as a film editor, cameraman, graphic designer and scholar, running his own business in video production. Now based in Slovenia, he wants to move away from the moving picture but still create a somewhat cinematic experience within one frame with his collages.
