LayerAIR programme offers a unique experience for all artists who seek a peaceful place with a lot of possibilities for creation of new projects. Artists are accommodated in an renovated, 19th century Layer House, which is today home to a vibrant art hub where exhibitions, festivals, workshops and concerts are taking place all year round. It represents a perfect place where artists can live and co-create with local cultural community and on the other hand enjoy all the peace they need. Layer House is settled in the small, charming medieval town of Kranj, situated on the sunny side of Alps, just a short drive away from the beloved Slovenian capital Ljubljana, green lakes of Triglav National Park and the romantic Mediterranean coast.

LayerAIR programme is led by Carnica Institute, which has more than 10 years of experience in producing urban changes, art festivals, biennials, exhibitions, events and residencies.
